Learning Tablets (Educational Tablets)
The market for dedicated learning tablets for K-12 students in China reached 5.923 million units in 2024, representing a 25.5% YoY increase. The market maintained high momentum from January to August 2025, with an average monthly growth rate near 25%, before experiencing a YoY decline starting in September. Total sales for the full year of 2025 are projected to slightly exceed 6 million units.
Traditional e-commerce and content e-commerce platforms together command a 73% market share. Combined online sales from September to November totaled 1.237 million units, a 7.6% YoY decrease. Notably, memory and storage costs now account for 20% to 25% of the total Bill of Materials (BOM) for learning tablets.
Mini LED Backlight Displays
In 2025, the global Mini LED backlight market reached $14.3 billion (+20% YoY), with terminal shipments totaling 15.31 million units (+38.6% YoY). China’s market contributed $8.6 billion (+63.2% YoY), accounting for 59.8% of the global total, while its terminal shipments of 8.58 million units (+82.3% YoY) represented 56.1% of global volume.
In China’s high-end TV market (priced at 12,000 RMB and above), Mini LED retail sales share reached a staggering 70.6%. Its penetration in the overall TV retail market rose to 21.4%, up 13.7 percentage points YoY. Shipments of RGB-Mini LED TVs are projected to surpass 300,000 to 400,000 units globally in 2026.
PC Monitors
Global monitor shipments reached 128.6 million units in 2025, a slight increase of 0.3% YoY. Brand shipment targets for 2026 remain conservative, with volume expected to hold steady at approximately 128 million units, flat compared to 2025.
In 2025, China’s online sales reached 10.7 million units, up 9% YoY. Influenced by national subsidy policies, the market showed a “strong start, weak finish” trend, with Q4 already seeing a YoY decline. The Top 10 brands account for approximately 70% of sales, and the average online price is expected to further decline to 1,035 RMB in 2026.
The “27-inch + UHD (4K) + 160Hz” configuration has become the market mainstream. Regarding refresh rates, 100Hz has become the primary choice for replacing 60Hz models. In Q3 2025, 240Hz surpassed 180Hz to become the new mainstream in the gaming market. Meanwhile, mainstream OLED monitors have seen price points drop below 2,000 RMB.
China’s Performance Market
According to data from the China Association of Performing Arts (CAPA), China’s total performance box office in 2025 reached 61.655 billion RMB (+6.39% YoY). The total number of performances reached 640,400 (+6.58% YoY), with a total audience of 194 million (+4.22% YoY).
Large-scale commercial performances (with over 5,000 attendees) accounted for approximately 3,000 shows (+12.70% YoY). This segment generated 32.448 billion RMB in box office revenue (+9.49% YoY), representing 52.6% of the national total, and attracted 43.3858 million attendees (+18.81% YoY).
Tourism-related performances (large and medium-sized projects) totaled 198,700 shows (+4.95% YoY), generating 17.442 billion RMB (+6.43% YoY) with 87.9897 million attendees (+3.01% YoY). Theater performances (including professional theaters and small venues/new spaces) reached 438,700 shows (+7.30% YoY).
